Our Company
Radiation General is a Budapest-based technology company.
The company was established to develop and manufacture instruments measuring the optical density of film dosimeters. Film dosimeters are tools which, as an effect of irradiation, change optical density.
Our company’s first product was the DoseReader1, the aim of which was to evaluate film dosimeters. The DoseReader1 measures this optical density and, through a calibration curve, the user can define the dose of irradiation.
The successor of DoseReader1 is the multi-wavelength DoseReader2, which can measure the dose at different wavelengths.
Our newest product, the StripDoseReader1 is a portable optical densitometer for measuring strip-shaped radiochromic film dosimeters.
Though Radiation General Ltd. has concentrated its activity on a particular field, its management and staff are dedicated to develop nuclear instrumentation in general.
